Tennessee resident Chase Pipes has spent his career specializing in history, archaeology, paleontology, and geology. The co-owner and operator of Smoky Mountain Relic Room, Chase Pipes is also the host of Chasing History, which featured an episode discussing dinosaurs in Texas. While it seems difficult to imagine these behemoth beasts roaming around the Texas desert (which might have once been filled with vegetation), there are museums across the state that document dinosaurs’ existence in prehistoric times.
1) Dinosaur Valley State Park offers residents the chance to find dinosaur tracks, in addition to engaging in a number of sporting activities such as hiking, swimming, and swimming. 2) The Perot Museum of Nature and Science, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, and the Witte Museum (San Antonio) are all natural science museums that contain exhibits explaining the history of dinosaurs in the area. 3) Dinosaur World is a great way to enjoy a more park-like experience with the whole family.
